Join our Global Commodities and Global Markets First Line Operational Risk team who play a key role partnering with the business to ensuring key operational risks are being effectively managed and monitored to facilitate the continuous improvement of processes, controls and awareness of risk culture across the business.

In office attendance is required for this role 3-4 days per week.

What role will you play?

As an Associate Director, you will use your derivatives and futures knowledge to provide expert advice on the end to end risk and control environment for the business. You will partner closely with the Trading Desks and Support Groups to develop a comprehensive knowledge of all processes to proactively manage operational risks. In addition, you will provide advice on a broad range of risk matters, assess new product and business initiatives, investigate incidents and test the effectiveness of controls.

  • Extensive experience in non-financial risk management supporting derivatives and/or futures trading businesses
  • High achievement drive, with strong resilience and problem solving skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to interpret and balance complex commercial issues within a risk framework
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with and influence senior business and risk stakeholders
  • Ability to manage assurance projects to ensure controls are working as designed.
