Our Data Governance Office sits within the Financial Management and People Enablement Group, championing the advancement of data management maturity and the delivery of our Group Data Strategy. The team collaborates across business divisions to ensure high-quality data is at the heart of our decision-making, enabling actionable insights and measurable outcomes. What role will you play?

As Senior Manager, Data Management and Governance, you will lead the development and implementation of frameworks, processes, and policies that strengthen our data governance capabilities. Your role will focus on embedding best practice approaches, engaging stakeholders across the Group, and driving accountability for data management. You will work closely with subject matter experts and senior leaders to provide guidance, support the continuous improvement of data governance activities, and ensure alignment with our strategic objectives. In partnership with enterprise and divisional data teams, you will help build a unified perspective on data risk and value creation. Your contribution will be central to enhancing the quality and reliability of our data, supporting superior business outcomes.

  • Demonstrated experience in data management, governance, risk, or consulting within financial services, with a track record of delivering improvements in data management maturity
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, alongside strong problem-solving skills and the ability to align initiatives with organisational strategy
  • Proven ability to lead data governance programmes, including operationalising frameworks and providing actionable guidance
  • Experience collaborating across business groups and with policy owners to drive enterprise-wide adoption of data management practices
  • People leadership experience, with a focus on building, empowering, and supporting high-performing teams, as well as strong communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders and deliver strategic outcomes.
