Macquarie Capital’s Infrastructure Advisory team provides advisory and financing services focused on M&A and Debt advisory to a global client base. We are looking for an off-cycle intern with a strong interest in the infrastructure sector and to join us in our London office from January 2026.

What role will you play?

As an Off-Cycle Intern, you will experience first-hand how are supporting our partners realise opportunity as part of our Macquarie Capital team. You will sit side by side experienced colleagues who will support you as you learn and build new skills, whilst completing key tasks including assisting in analysing potential investments opportunities, financial modelling, approval papers, internal and external presentations, market analysis, value creation on existing investments and due diligence support. In addition, you will assist in the origination of new potential transactions (information research, targets identification, etc) covering the infrastructure sector, and subject to deal flow, you will also have the opportunity assist the team in the execution of live transactions (acquisition and / or divestments of assets).

What you offer
  • You are a student in your final or penultimate year of university (bachelor or master), or a recent graduate with outstanding academic performance.
  • An understanding of financial advisory processes, valuation, accounting, and financial modelling.
  • Strong interest in infrastructure.
  • Having completed a prior internship in a relevant field would be a plus.
  • You must be an excellent communicator in both written and spoken English. Any other language skills are advantageous.
