We have an exciting opportunity to join our Supplier Governance team as Vice President of KYC and Supplier Onboarding, collaborating globally across investment, fund management, compliance, and risk to drive positive change in Macquarie Asset Management’s Supplier-as-a-Service (SaaS) support function. What role will you play?

In this role, you will lead and develop a team of KYC and supplier specialists, ensuring efficient onboarding processes and high performance. In addition to team leadership responsibilities, you will take on various daily operational and process-level activities, working closely with business teams through new onboarding processes and providing support as a subject matter expert. As the primary point of contact for stakeholders, you will manage complex requests, monitor team performance, and drive continuous improvement, while collaborating on policy, process, and change initiatives to optimise business outcomes.

  • 15+ years of experience with Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in KYC and Supplier Governance, with a strong understanding of processes, documentation, policies, and risk assessments. Able to support and guide colleagues through complex compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to achieve results both independently and collaboratively, showing initiative and a strategic approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly to audiences with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, while building positive stakeholder relationships
  • Proven experience leading or supporting KYC and/or Supplier Onboarding teams within financial services, with a commitment to developing, empowering, and motivating inclusive, high-performing teams
  • Adaptability and Change Leadership: Experience in leading teams through change, embracing ambiguity, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement
