Our dedicated Data Quality team sits within the Group Data Office, Commodities and Global Markets team at Macquarie Group. We are focused on enhancing data quality capabilities, automating manual processes and supporting stakeholders across the Macquarie Group. We have an exciting opportunity for a developer to join the team to help with our Liquidity E2E program.

What role will you play?

As a key member of our team, you will play a key role in driving data quality improvements, ensuring the integrity and reliability of data, and supporting our commitment to excellence in the financial markets. As a delivery-oriented Developer, you will leverage your proficiency in Python and SQL to drive impactful regulatory reporting projects.

Your role will involve utilising your programming expertise to ensure seamless data management to uphold data governance standards, and address data quality issues. Ideally, you will bring your knowledge of EDM tooling/platforms to assist with enhancing our capabilities in delivering high-quality solutions. Your contributions will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our data systems.

What you offer

  • Demonstrated experience using Python, SQL, Alteryx or similar
  • Experience developing workflows to manage exception handling processes
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills to facilitate strong working relationships, support collaboration and manage issues
  • Previous experience in financial services and understanding of financial instruments would be advantageous but not essential.
