What role will you play?

As an off-cycle intern, you will experience first-hand how we are helping our clients, and partners realise opportunity as part of our Macquarie Capital team. You will work in a fast-paced environment, engaging with clients, developing your knowledge of M&A market dynamics and producing fundamental financial analysis. You will sit side by side experienced colleagues who will support you as you learn and build new skills, whilst completing key tasks including supporting and assisting the team in analysing potential investments opportunities (valuation, business planning, market analysis, due diligence support), as well as originating new potential transactions (information research, targets identification, etc.). Subject to deal flow, you will also have the opportunity to assist the team in the execution of live transactions (acquisition and / or divestments of assets).

What you offer
  • You are a motivated student in the final year or gap year of a top business or engineering school (or equivalent), or a recent graduate with outstanding academic performance.
  • You have completed a first experience as an intern in corporate finance advisory, mergers & acquisitions, private equity, transaction services, leveraged finance or audit.
  • Excellent language skills in English and Spanish are required.
