The Data Management team within Macquarie Asset Management ensures data within our data platform is well governed for democratization and consumption for business use cases.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

The Data Manager will partner with global D3E team members—including Digital Solutions Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineers—to deliver well-governed, curated data products that empower the MAM Client Solutions team to raise new funds and strengthen client relationships. This role will leverage our newly built data platform to drive data transformation across MAM, providing guidance to the team to define and prototype logical and conceptual data models. The Data Manager will champion best practices in data governance, security, and ethical use, ensuring intuitive, actionable data products that meet business and end-user needs.

Salary range for this position: $145,000 - $165,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What you offer

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field
• 4–6 years’ experience in data management or analysis, preferably within financial services
• Strong SQL skills; Python or R experience is a plus; proven track record in solution planning and delivery
• Solid understanding of data structures, modeling, integration, and data governance frameworks/tools
• Experience with BigQuery, dbt, Collibra; highly analytical, strong communicator, and thrives in agile team environments.
