What role will you play?

As part of a collaborative regional team, you will contribute to the global expansion of our index capabilities, with significant autonomy to shape the evolution of our index products. You will research, monitor and forecast index changes and corporate actions affecting major Asia Pacific and global benchmarks, while analysing periodic rebalances, passive flow implications and liquidity events that influence trading strategies.

Your insights will support internal decision making and enhance client conversations by clearly explaining index driven flows, methodology updates and rebalancing dynamics to institutional investors. Through timely and actionable analysis, you will help strengthen client relationships and reinforce our market leading index platform. You will also develop and automate systematic forecasting tools, integrate methodology changes, and interpret regulatory filings to refine and improve our index predictions.

What you offer

  • Strong academic background in quantitative finance, computer science, data science, engineering or a related discipline
  • Existing index research and/or program trading experience gained from sell-side, buy-side, or index providers
  • Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with institutional clients and maintain relationships with exceptional interpersonal skills and fluency in English (Mandarin or Cantonese skills are an advantage)
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem solving skills with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and communicate technical concepts clearly with a commercial mindset
  • Proficiency in Excel, VBA and scripting languages such as Python.
