We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled professional to take ownership of Batch Operations and Orchestration activities within the financial domain. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Batch Shell Scripting, SED, UNIX commands, and Control-M batch management, alongside excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently. Experience with modern tools such as GitHub and AWS, a strong drive to contribute to automation initiatives, and a keen willingness to learn and contribute towards Artificial Intelligence initiatives are desirable.

What role will you play?

• Execute and oversee batch jobs using Control-M, with a focus on financial applications.

• Set up and maintain annual calendars in Control-M, ensuring alignment with business requirements and critical financial processes.

• Manage complex batch operations and workflows, leveraging Control-M’s advanced orchestration capabilities.

• Develop, maintain, and optimize batch shell scripts; utilize SED and UNIX commands for automation and troubleshooting.

• Coordinate maintenance and support activities, including release management, problem management, and incident resolution.

• Implement and monitor support and orchestration processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance requirements.

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure alignment and timely delivery of objectives.

• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, must be able to deliver under pressure by meeting stringent delivery timelines.

• Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues and provide expert guidance for problem resolution.

• Demonstrate willingness to learn and contribute to initiatives around Artificial Intelligence and automation within wider project

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Batch Shell Scripting, SED, and UNIX commands.

• Proven expertise in managing Control-M batch operations, including setting up annual calendars and orchestrating complex batch workflows, preferably within the financial domain.

• Experience with orchestration tools and processes in an enterprise environment.

• Good understanding or exposure to GitHub and AWS; certification or demonstrable experience is a plus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to convey complex technical concepts clearly.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.

• Solid understanding of support processes, including release management and problem management.

• Problem-solving mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.

• Willingness to learn and contribute to Artificial Intelligence initiatives as part of ongoing innovation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus
