Our APAC Risk team within Macquarie Asset Management partners with the Real Assets and Real Estate divisions to strengthen risk management practices across Australia and New Zealand. We provide guidance on transactions, new products, and operational processes, ensuring robust frameworks and controls that support sustainable growth.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Manager in our Line 1 Risk team, you will play a key role in implementing and enhancing our risk strategy. You’ will collaborate with stakeholders across Real Assets and Real Estate, providing advice on risk frameworks, supporting transaction teams, and delivering insights to senior management. Your work will help reinforce a strong culture of risk management across the business.

What you offer

• At least six years’ experience in non-financial risk management, operational risk, audit, or related fields, ideally within asset management or financial services
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex issues and design effective controls
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and influence stakeholders across diverse teams
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with experience in risk assessments, incident management, and assurance reviews.
