Join Macquarie’s Wealth Distribution Risk team in this newly created role to enhance our governance and oversight practices of third parties that distribute Macquarie Wealth and Deposit products.

What role will you play?

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the daily monitoring of third‑party relationships, ensuring that any issues are identified promptly. As part of this, you will oversee the investigation, reporting, and resolution of matters involving third parties as they arise. You will closely coordinate with stakeholders across teams such as Data Analytics, Product, and Operations to continually improve information‑management tools, including consolidating key data points related to third parties and identifying potential risks.

In addition, you will assist in reviewing and further developing the existing Wealth Distribution Risk function, spanning processes across multiple stages of the customer and product lifecycle, including onboarding, monitoring, maintenance, and, where required, remediation activities relating to third‑party product distributors. You will also project‑manage key Distribution Risk initiatives aimed at strengthening the function, prepare and lead senior management forums, providing updates on current matters being managed and highlighting issues requiring senior‑level decisions.

  • Strong experience reviewing, assessing and enhancing governance frameworks to achieve optimal client and business outcomes
  • Working knowledge of the Financial Planning regulatory environment
  • Knowledge of Wealth and Deposit products and services
  • Excellent communication skills and strong experience in managing multiple stakeholders, projects and tasks and delivering to a high standard.
