What role will you play?

You will analyse requirements, develop test cases and plans, and perform both manual and automated testing across a range of applications, including SaaS platforms (such as Salesforce, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams), in-house developed tools, and data migration activities, used by a global Macquarie Capital audience.

In collaboration with teams in Manila, Sydney and New York, you will help deliver high-quality releases, evaluate risks and issues, select appropriate test scopes, and balance shifting priorities within an Agile environment.

What you offer

  • Computer science or engineering degree (or equivalent), with at least 5 years of software application testing experience and 2 years in test automation
  • Strong foundation in manual functional testing, solid SQL scripting abilities and experience designing tests using various techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills for data reconciliation, strong verbal and written communication skills, and a proven ability to clarify vague specifications with stakeholders across locations
  • Demonstrated track record in creating test plans, test cases, test estimates, executing tests and reporting progress, with the ability to multitask across parallel releases
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and eagerness to learn business applications
  • Background in investment banking or financial services, expertise in automation tools (Robot, Selenium, Python, REST API, etc.), and familiarity with Salesforce and test management tools (JIRA Xray) will be an advantage.
