Join our Client Solutions Group within Macquarie Asset Management and play a pivotal role in raising capital for our Private Market strategies, including various infrastructure strategies, private debt and private equity across Korea. Leveraging your excellent track record in investing or capital raising for such Private Market products and other alternative investment products, together with your relationships with key Korean investors, you will be responsible for fundraising and product development initiatives and contributing to the growth of the group's Private Market platform.

What role will you play?

Reporting into our Head of Client Solutions Group for North Asia, you will be required to raise institutional capital from Korean investors across the group's managed Private Market products and capabilities with a focus on private debt and infrastructure strategies. Working closely with fund management/investment teams and other internal stakeholders, you will participate in developing new product offerings, contribute market knowledge and investor feedback with respect to market soundings including around investment strategies.

You will coordinate and collaborate effectively with the broader client solutions team to ensure alignment and an organised approach to client management and capital raising. In addition, you will be required to maintain existing relationships and cultivate long-term investor prospects whilst implementing organised and consistent touchpoints to ensure that they remain current on the firm’s current and potential product offerings.

  • 12+ years of experience in capital raising, transactions or asset management with alternative investment products, gained within an LP/GP environment
  • Deep relationships with institutional investors in Korea with the ability to leverage these connections to build, maintain and expand partnerships
  • Proven track record of raising capital for various alternative investment products or of investing in such products
  • Exceptional interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills, with fluency in Korean and English, and the ability to articulate complex investment strategies clearly and credibly
  • Highly collaborative and process-driven, with strong coordination skills and attention to detail, ensuring effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, commercial mindset, demonstrating independence and leadership while fostering teamwork and delivering results in a structured, client-focused manner.
