The Portfolio and Insights squad sits within the Control Tower function of Macquarie’s Digital, Data and AI and Engineering (D3E) team, part of the Banking and Financial Services group. We drive strategic planning and decision-making by harnessing data-driven intelligence to deliver innovation and efficiency across the business.

What role will you play?

As a Portfolio Insights Analyst, you will analyse complex datasets to uncover trends and deliver actionable insights, supporting the D3E team’s strategic objectives. You will work closely with project managers, product owners, and development teams to ensure your insights translate into effective business outcomes and present your findings to senior leadership to inform key decisions.

What you offer

  • A bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in consulting or data analysis
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling abilities
  • Experience working with Atlassian products such as Jira Software
  • Proven project management skills and experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes in priorities and timelines
  • Experience working in technology companies or financial services is valuable.
