Our Risk Management Group plays a critical role in supporting Macquarie’s Compliance division to meet global regulatory requirements. Working within the Compliance Product & Delivery team, we focus on delivering meaningful change by improving systems, processes, and ways of working across the organisation.

As a Business Analyst, you will support key delivery initiatives that strengthen how Macquarie meets its global reporting and compliance obligations. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to understand current processes, define future improvements, and translate business needs into clear requirements that support sustainable and effective change. Your work will help drive multi-year transformation across systems, data, and operating models.

What you offer

  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, risk management, regulatory, or related environments, with the ability to analyse complex business problems and propose practical solutions
  • Experience supporting the selection and implementation of software-as-a-service solutions, working with internal technology and data teams as well as external vendors to achieve agreed business outcomes
  • Strong capability to review existing processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and document future state processes, procedures, and requirements
  • Proven experience leading and facilitating stakeholder workshops, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders through clear written and verbal communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying risks, prioritising work effectively, and knowing when to escalate issues appropriately.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
