What role will you play?

As an experienced Platform Engineer in the Software Delivery Platform team, you will directly shape the developer experience across the organisation. You will take ownership of designing and implementing low-level solutions for priority initiatives, ensuring the squad’s code meets the highest standards. You will play a key role in mentoring and guiding non-senior engineers, fostering quality engineering and development practices within the team.

Collaboration is central to this role. You will work closely with fellow engineers to implement new features and services, driving continuous improvement across our platform. You will also join your team in responding to critical incidents, helping diagnose and resolve issues, and actively participating in blameless post-mortems to enhance our product, technologies, and team culture.

What you offer

  • You have extensive prior experience working in DevOps environments.
  • You have proven hands-on coding skills in one or more programming languages, such as Go, Java (SpringBoot), and TypeScript (React, Next.js); experience across all is highly advantageous.
  • Strong back-end development experience, particularly focused on development tooling.
  • You have exposure to key technologies, including CI/CD platforms (e.g., GitHub), machine-readable registries and repositories, and applied automation.
  • Proven ability to apply technical expertise across complex systems, shaping architecture and design to align with organisational priorities and scalability needs.
  • You have experience leading complex technical initiatives. mentoring other developers, sharing knowledge, and mapping business goals to product design.
  • Demonstrated interest and experience in AI/LLM methods and frameworks, with the ability to discuss your work, experiments, and learnings.
  • Willingness to share insights on what you have built, what you have broken, and your perspective on limitations or challenges in AI/LLM technologies.
