Join our team in our Auckland office as an Executive Assistant. In this role you will partner with a wide and diverse group of stakeholders across Macquarie Capital. You will work with a high performing team of 12 investment bankers who work on a range of transactions and advisory work. The Auckland team have a strong, collaborative culture.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require five days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide a high level of support to a Division Director, partnering with them to ensure their day runs smoothly and efficiently.  Whilst they will be your main focus, you will also support the wider team and be a central point of contact for a broad range of operational and administrative needs throughout the office (including managing invoices, managing catering, etc.). You will drive people engagement, organising office wide social and work-related events from end to end.


What you offer

  • 3+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant 
  • Experience managing diaries, arranging complex travel, organising meetings and coordinating events 
  • A proactive and resourceful problem solver with exceptional IT/Tech support skills
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and navigate conflicting requirements
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office suite.
