Our team invests across private markets to create long term value. You will be work with us to source and shape investments across diverse sectors as part of our private equity strategy. Principal Finance is the balance sheet investing arm of Macquarie Capital. What role will you play?

In this role, you will identify and analyse new investment opportunities. Leading due diligence with colleagues, counterparties and external experts, and presenting your insights in meetings including investment committee discussions. As well as developing clear analyses such as financial models, earnings reviews and KPI assessments. Turning complex information into concise materials for internal and external audiences. You will also support portfolio monitoring, track performance and help prepare strategic reviews.

What you offer

  • 1–3 years of experience in full-service mergers and acquisitions, capital markets or investing.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills with experience in business research and financial modelling.
  • Knowledge of private equity with the desire to grow as an investor.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills that allow you confidently liaise with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactive self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
