As Vice President within Commodities and Global Markets Group, develop fundamental data analytics solutions for North American power and gas traders and analysts, including designing, building, and deploying data analytics platforms that support the decision-making processes of traders and analysts operating in North American power and gas markets. Specific duties include collaborating closely with business stakeholders to identify key challenges, data requirements, and performance metrics, ensuring that the solutions delivered are both technically robust and aligned with commercial objectives; developing machine learning solar and wind generation power forecasting models, gas pipeline flow models, and price forecasting models; applying advanced machine learning techniques to create predictive models for renewable energy generation, such as solar and wind power; and developing models to forecast gas pipeline flows and energy prices, leveraging large datasets, statistical analysis, and domain expertise to improve forecast accuracy and reliability, including continuously refining and validating these models to adapt to changing market conditions and new data sources.
