The India Lead for Transaction Reporting Technology drives end-to-end delivery and operational excellence, leading engineering and testing teams within a collaborative and psychologically safe environment while partnering with key stakeholders to deliver scalable, accurate, and compliant reporting solutions aligned with evolving regulatory requirements.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will provide strategic leadership to shape India’s transaction reporting technology capabilities, align with global strategy, and drive platform modernization using advanced data, cloud, and AI-enabled engineering practices across multiple regulatory regimes. You will lead vendor strategy and delivery execution by consolidating partnerships, optimizing performance, and overseeing engineering, QA, and SRE teams to deliver regulatory change, data quality, and platform enhancements. You will ensure strong governance and operational excellence through robust data controls, stakeholder engagement, production stability, and by building a high-performing team with a focus on accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Senior technology leader with 15+ years in IT and 5+ years in leadership roles, delivering large-scale programs within investment banking and regulated environments.
• Strong expertise in JAVA full stack development (Spring Boot) combined with modern data engineering ecosystems (Databricks, Dataiku, Snowflake, Apache Spark, Kafka).
• Proven track record of executing multi-year, multi-system transformation programs from offshore (India), driving strategic outcomes and regulatory compliance.
• Deep experience in building and managing large offshore teams, along with strong people and vendor management capabilities across global delivery models.
• Extensive knowledge of data pipelines, data engineering principles, and AI-driven (Agentic AI) solutions, enabling scalable and efficient data architectures.
• Strong governance skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, manage regulatory expectations, and provide clear executive-level reporting and risk-based decision-making.
• Leadership mindset focused on capability building, coaching high-performing teams, and delivering resilient outcomes in high-pressure, compliance-driven environments.
