The Credit Support team sits within Business Banking's Client and Risk Analysis function. The team plays a critical role in the deal origination process, acting as the quality gateway between the distribution (sales) team and credit assessors. The team manages a high-volume deal queue across triage, optimization, and vetting activities, working closely with Relationship Managers, Credit Risk Assessors, and Documentation teams to ensure deals are structured correctly and meet all policy requirements before proceeding to assessment.

What role will you play?

As a Credit Support professional, you will be responsible for reviewing and progressing lending deals through the credit origination pipeline in nCino. You will perform triage assessments, deal optimization checks which include, credit searches on Equifax, trust deed vetting and working with our distribution team to resolve issues before deals reach the credit writing stage. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role that requires strong communication with internal stakeholders and a commitment to high-quality outcomes.

  • Experience in client support or internal support roles, preferably in banking, financial services, or credit operations environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high-volume, time-critical workload
  • Clear and confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with sales, credit, and documentation teams
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a structured team environment
  • A collaborative team player who contributes positively to team culture and continuous improvement.
