Join our Settlements, Data and Transaction Support team, which is part of the wider Equities and Derivatives Trading Operations team. The team's primary function is to ensure timely settlement of trades, accurate static data set up for entity, instruments and standard settlement instructions.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role.

What role will you play?

You will monitor the settlement of equities and fixed income transactions for the EMEA region, update client static data, and ensure all changes in client static information, settlement instructions, instruments, etc. are updated promptly and accurately. You will also review control reports and perform due diligence to ensure instrument data integrity and consistency across internal applications as well as third party vendor feeds, and resolve issues where appropriate.

Working closely with custodians and internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for escalating and resolving any trade issues.

  • Self-motivated with a confident and professional attitude, high levels of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and solve problems with a questioning approach to improve processes and controls
  • Team player who is able to deliver a high level of quality service to clients on a daily basis under tight time frames
  • Experience in market operations or settlements
  • Flexible to work outside of office hours to support the business as required
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with a strong commitment to completion and delivery
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills with a good understanding of Word and Excel.
