What role will you play?

You will play a key role within the Risk Management Group, partnering closely with trading teams in Commodities and Global Markets to support a diverse portfolio spanning equities, derivatives and funding activities. You help assess and structure transactions early in the deal lifecycle, translating complex exposures into clear, concise insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders. By actively managing a portfolio of counterparties, you balance commercial opportunities with robust risk oversight, contributing to credit decisions, legal negotiations and ongoing portfolio reviews. You engage with senior stakeholders across risk and front office functions, as well as external clients, bringing strong judgement and communication to influence outcomes and support strategic growth. Reporting into senior credit risk leadership, you operate in a fast-paced, global environment where your input directly shapes trading activity and risk frameworks

What you offer

  • 2-4 years' experience in credit risk, financial markets or a related field gained within a recognised financial institution
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with the ability to assess complex financial structures and exposures
  • Working knowledge of equities, derivatives and financing transactions such as repurchase agreements or securities lending
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior colleagues and clients
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure
