Join our Risk Management Group Central Data function, a high-impact team focused on delivering reliable, high-quality risk data to support critical decision-making across the business. As part of the Data Operations Team, you will play a key role in building and maintaining data products, partnering closely with stakeholders to resolve data challenges and uphold strong data quality standards.

What role will you play?

You will play a key role in the end-to-end lifecycle of data products, from initial design through to delivery, monitoring and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with both business and technology stakeholders across the Risk Management Group and broader organisation to ensure data solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable and embedded effectively.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by enhancing data quality, usability and operational resilience.

What you offer

  • 2+ years of experience in data, risk or related analytical roles, with exposure to data operations, management and/or data product delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse data issues, investigate root causes, and propose practical solutions 
  • High attention to detail and a proactive mindset, with an interest in improving data quality, operational processes, and overall data usability
  • Proven ability to collaborate with both business and technology stakeholders, with clear communication skills to translate data requirements and outcomes
  • Working knowledge of data tools and concepts (e.g. SQL, data quality frameworks, data pipelines or similar), with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
