What role will you play?

As a Technology, Cyber, Data and AI Risk Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in providing independent oversight and challenge across a broad range of non-financial risks within our Banking and Financial Services business. You will analyse risk information, identify emerging trends and threats, and provide clear insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders. Working closely with teams across the organisation, you will help guide the safe adoption of new technologies and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our risk management framework.

What you offer

  • Experience in governance, risk management, audit, or advisory roles with a focus on technology, cybersecurity, data, or artificial intelligence risks, preferably within financial services
  • Strong understanding of recognised risk and control frameworks and relevant regulatory requirements, with the ability to assess controls and provide clear, independent risk advice
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret complex information, identify trends, and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across a range of teams and functions
  • Relevant professional certifications or tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Law, Finance, or a related discipline, combined with a proactive and adaptable approach to learning and development.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow. Our divisions include compliance, credit, financial crime risk, market risk, operational risk, aggregate risk and prudential, and central.
