As an intern in Macquarie Asset Management, you will be part of a global, full-service asset manager, providing investment solutions to clients across a range of capabilities, including infrastructure, renewables, real estate, agriculture, transportation finance, equities, fixed income, private credit, and multi-asset solutions.
What role will you play?
Our ten-week internship program will provide you with hands-on experience in the world of financial services.

As an intern with our Macquarie Asset Management Private Markets team, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills and build your career as you support a team investing to deliver positive impact for everyone.

Client Solutions Group: You will work with product specialists and relationship managers to produce marketing, investor relations and due diligence materials for existing and potential investors. You will also assist with the process of raising new capital for funds and fund establishment, including working with our legal, tax and other specialist teams.
Enterprise: You will work across the finance team, compliance, legal, and fund administrators to deliver client focused solutions. You will be involved in various areas within Wealth Solutions that support the creation, distribution and servicing of Alternative Investment products to our distribution partners with a strong focus on risk and controls while navigating a dynamic environment.
MAM Central: You will provide critical support to execute the delivery of MAM’s strategic priorities across the global platform. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to senior leaders and work on diverse projects that will drive key strategic decisions to grow the platform globally. You will be responsible for writing management presentations, preparing briefing notes for senior engagements, and monitoring and reporting the performance and operations of the overall MAM platform.
Real Assets: You will work with senior executives on the execution of new investment opportunities and will be responsible for the financial modeling, analysis and diligence of companies across infrastructure and renewables. You will also work directly with portfolio company management to oversee and direct execution of the business plans for our portfolio companies.
Real Estate: You will work with senior executives on the execution of new investment opportunities through financial modeling, analysis and diligence of real estate assets and platform companies operating in the real estate sector. You will work with property managers, management teams and platform companies on the execution of business plans for owned real estate and platform. You will also be involved in capital raising from investors for management investment products (including funds, joint ventures and clubs) and ongoing investor interactions.
Strategic Solutions: You will be one of the early members of a growing new team that is responsible for launching a reinsurance solution for the life and annuities sector and expanding MAM's insurance asset management platform. Your role will involve significant interaction with a range of stakeholders within the business, including the investment teams that span our Private Markets and Public Investments divisions. Your role will involve financial analysis, assistance in due diligence, presentation preparation and research into the broader global (re)insurance market. This will include actively supporting the sourcing and executing of reinsurance transactions.

Salary Range
Estimated salary amount is the equivalent of $US70,000 - $US110,000 annually, prorated for the length of time of the internship. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
