Join our regional Corporate Access team based in Tokyo to support the continuous growth of our Equities business in Asia. You will be part of a supportive and high performing team, working internally across front office teams and externally liaising with various vendors and business partner to drive and maintain robust Corporate Access pipelines.

What role will you play?

You will be an integral member of a regional team responsible for supporting logistical coordination and execution of a variety of corporate access activities, both virtually and physically, including roadshows, conference calls, bespoke events, group tours and conferences. You will be involved from conception through to completion in activities such as invitation and attendance management, travel and transportation arrangement, onsite coordination and production arrangement.

You will also collaborate with global Corporate Access desk on deliverables and event content, create and maintain all events materials including invitations, company schedules, investor profiles and feedback documents etc. Working in conjunction with the sales, research analysts and investment banking teams, you will help maintain Macquarie’s contact relationship management system, share events calendars, collate investor feedback, as well as manage special projects to support and enhance our evolving platforms.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English to build relationships and interact efficiently with internal and external parties
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure, effectively juggle multiple competing priorities and excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Forward-thinking and detail-minded in a fast-paced, and sometimes high-pressure environment, with the ability to work on projects with minimum oversight
  • A team player with strong work ethics, a can-do attitude, and the desire to succeed and deliver customer service excellence
  • Prior experience in Corporate Access will be advantageous though not a perquisite
  • Experience gained from relevant fields such as event management or executive assistance preferably in a fast-paced environment will also be valued.
