Join our Strategic Initiatives team in the Commodities and Global Markets Group to support client and business objectives by managing the design, implementation and embeddedness of strategic initiatives, uplifting business operations, and delivering regulatory and remediation projects.

What role you will play?

As part of a global team with members in Sydney and London, you will work with business teams, operational risk managers, data analysts and technologists to transform processes, practices and systems to improve the management of risk. You will have a wide range of responsibilities through the project lifecycle, covering elicitation and documentation of business requirements, leveraging technology to automate and digitise processes and solutions whilst working across system dependencies to deliver enhancements and operational improvements to meet business needs.

What you offer

  • At least 3 years’ experience within financial services, preferably with knowledge of operational risk, in a business analyst, data analyst or operations role
  • Experience managing the end-to-end project lifecycle with strong ability to interpret prudential standards, document assumptions,
  • Ability to identify and investigate unexpected behaviours/patterns through data analysis 
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical peers across offices and time zones
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and draw on collaboration and problem-solving skills to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Flexible and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership to follow through deliverables to closure.
