What role will you play?

As a Lead Engineer you will be a technical leader and own the design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of the CICD Platform developed by the team. You will work closely with different platforms to understand their needs and utilize your skills to identify opportunities to simplify and accelerate software delivery. 

You will also act as a mentor to junior engineers, contributing to our culture of learning and continuous improvement. You will help cultivate a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and improvement in the team.

What you offer

• Excellent understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration concepts such as auto scaling
• Strong understanding of Docker and containerisation
• Demonstrated experience with Linux and Bash scripting 
• Demonstrated understanding of a mixture of build tools (Maven, Gradle, NPM, etc) 
• A strong understanding of CICD principals including security and release patterns (canary, blue/green) 
• Hands on experience with CICD tools (BitBucket Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)  Demonstrable ability to influence and engage with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrable ability to break down problems and solve them systematically.
