About the event

Discover Her Career at Macquarie

About the event

Discover Her Career at Macquarie is an exclusive three-part event series designed to help women graduating in 2027 to explore what’s possible and take meaningful steps towards a career in business or technology.

This is your opportunity to gain real insight into life in a global organisation that invests in its people and supports work that’s building for a better future. You’ll also build your network, explore career pathways, learn how to strengthen your application and stand out in the graduate and intern recruitment process.

Participants who successfully complete all three parts of the series will be invited to a phone screening interview for our 2026/2027 Summer Internship Program.

Please note successful participants are expected to be available for all three events.

What to expect

Part one: Discover Her Insights Evening

Monday 4 May |5:30-7:30pm | Macquarie global headquarters - Sydney

Kick off the series with an interactive evening focused on helping you put your best foot forward. You’ll learn how to optimise your application, hear authentic career stories from our graduate panel, and gain an understanding of early career opportunities at Macquarie. You’ll also have the chance to network with our Early Careers team and women in our graduate cohort.

Selected participants will be invited to join us for parts two and three, following completion of a Psychometric Assessment after part one

Part two: Discover Macquarie Event

Monday 18 May | 9:00am-3:15pm | Macquarie global headquarters - Sydney

Experience what working at Macquarie could look like during a full day immersed in our global headquarters. You’ll meet representatives from across our business and central services groups and gain a deeper understanding of the diverse roles and career pathways available.

Student will get to choose between a Business or Technology case study to tailor your experience, connect with senior leaders, and gain practical insight into how our teams collaborate to solve complex problems.

Part three: Interview Skills and Networking

Monday 25 May | 10:45am-1:15pm | Macquarie global headquarters - Sydney

Bring everything together in our final session designed to build confidence and prepare you for future recruitment processes. Using insights gained throughout the series, you’ll participate in mock interviews with Macquarie representatives and receive personalised feedback to help you refine your interview approach.

We’ll conclude with a Discover Her networking lunch, celebrating your journey through the series and the connections you’ve built along the way.
