What role will you play?
As an intern with our Commodity Markets and Finance (CMF) team, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and build your career. The team provides risk management, lending and financing, and physical execution and logistics services across the energy, metals and agricultural sectors globally. The division also offers commodity-based index products to institutional investors.
As part of this program you will:
- Help develop models and market research analysis to support project decision-making
- Contribute to pricings and projects in commodities such as oil and petroleum products, originated in Macquarie offices globally
- Assist the team in sector and market analysis to support traders and deal teams
- Interact with other groups across Macquarie to obtain transaction and model approvals

- Take part in an orientation where you’ll learn about Macquarie’s business groups with your fellow Macquarie interns and receive technical training.

- Participate in philanthropic and social events to connect you to our inclusive culture.
- Present a project you worked on during the program to senior management.
What you offer

- You have a strong attention to detail with experience and comfort in Excel.
