What role will you play?

Working closely with our senior traders, you will provide support on trading a broad range of listed and OTC delta one products including equities, ETFs, index and dividend futures, forwards, and equity swaps. Working within a collaborative team of event, corporate actions, and index traders, you will help deploy and manage principal trading strategies with a focus on the China market.

In this role, you will price, trade, and optimise delta one exposures, while exploring and executing new trading opportunities across products, markets, and strategies. Your work will span index arbitrage, corporate actions/event driven trading, and other delta one strategies, including identifying inefficiencies, running analysis and pitching actionable ideas. You will also interact closely with technology and risk partners to utilise advanced trading systems and risk tools to backtest these strategies by analysing historical trading signals, building and interpreting backtesting results, and identifying opportunities to enhance algorithmic models.

  • Demonstrated understanding of China equity markets
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including sound knowledge of mathematics and statistics
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python/R/C++
  • Clear communicator with fluency in English and an effective team player (additional Mandarin skills will be an advantage)
  • Relevant experience pricing and trading delta one products and strategies and/or quantitative research will be an advantage (fresh graduates with similar internship experience are welcome).
