What role will you play?

In this role you will work closely with senior members of both the Real Estate and Real Estate Client Solutions team globally, you will play a vital role in scaling Macquarie Real Estate’s product suite in APAC, performing a wide range of activities. In this highly collaborative role, you will be working with senior members across our various teams and contribute to the end-to-end life cycle of funds, including building and launching real estate product, closing investors into our vehicles and ongoing investor relations during the fund life.

You will be responsible for developing and evolving investor facing materials, preparing initial fund models, mapping/tracking relevant investors and analysing feedback to identify new opportunities and grow existing client accounts, preparing meeting materials and conducting post-meeting follow-ups including preparing due diligence responses, as well as supporting the planning of roadshows to maximise engagement.

  • 2+ years’ experience in real estate fundraising, investor relations, real estate advisory or real estate investment
  • An understanding of real estate investment, fund structures and investor requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to succinctly articulate fund strategy, real estate investment strategy, risk/return dynamics and vehicle structures into presentation materials
  • Proficiency with financial modelling and fund performance metrics (IRR, MOIC, NAV, distributions)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); some experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)
  • Commitment to meeting internal and client deadlines in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail in document preparation and data management.
