Join our Central Funding Hub - Secured Financing (CFH SF) desk within Macquarie’s Commodities and Global Markets (CGM) group as a Business Analyst. The CFH SF team is a rapidly growing, dynamic team with a mandate to expand its activities to providing trading capabilities across repo and stock lending products to meet CGM’s liquidity management needs. This is an opportunity to work hands-on on a project from initiation through to delivery within financial industry.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with Business Subject Matter Experts to facilitate activities such as understanding business processes, detailed calculations and conducting workshops for desired future states. You will also elicit and document requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process mapping. Additionally, you conduct as-is/to-be gap analysis and drive user acceptance testing. 

What you offer

• Understanding of financial markets, including stock borrow lending and securities lending;
• Knowledge of investment banking processes, trading, risk management, and regulatory requirements;
• Familiarity with financial products such as equities, bonds, and derivatives;
• Proficiency in SQL for database querying and advanced Excel skills, along with data analysis tools like Dataiku and Power BI; and
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum), Confluence, JIRA, and risk management practices, with a high attention to detail for accurate analysis and documentation.
