Join a team of engineers in Banking and Financial Services as we build our digital omni channel contact center using the latest SaaS technologies. What role you will play?

You will be part of the core platform team responsible for building and maintaining our cloud-based omni-channel contact centre. This includes working closely with different teams and stakeholders to understand the problems they're trying to solve, using your knowledge and experience to shape the best solution possible using industry best practices. Your team has end-to-end ownership of the systems you build and, on occasion, provide production support for the broader team.

At Macquarie our structure is flat, your daily responsibilities will be a mixture of a software engineer and mentor to junior engineers. You will help cultivate a culture of collaboration, and continuous learning and improvement in the team.

What you offer

  • Hands-on experience and strong skills with NodeJS or Typescript or ReactJS
  • Experience in automated unit and integration testing
  • Thorough understanding and experience of APIs/microservices architecture
  • Basic understanding of Voice Over IP concepts
  • Demonstrable ability to break down problems and solve them systematically
  • Experience in Twilio or any contact centre platform is advantageous but not required.
