Join our Commodities and Global Markets team as a Commodity Loan Execution Lead in our New York Office.

Our Commodity Markets and Finance Division provides a full spectrum offering to clients with exposure to commodities. Our division provides risk management, financing, physical execution and logistics across the full spectrum of clients and regions.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be a hands-on manager for a team responsible for loan and letter of credit administration across a diverse portfolio of energy, agricultural and metals loans and structured transactions. Your primary responsibility will be to allocate and support the workload across the team to ensure we are meeting timelines while also managing the day-to-day client activity and collaborating with internal stakeholder groups, including the trade desks, to ensure the efficient and accurate issuance and ongoing management of loans and letters of credit .One a daily basis, you will monitor and manage the inbox so that all queries are addressed and flagged for action, lead team meetings and monitor exception reports and work queues in LoanIQ. 

Salary range for this position: $160,000 - $190,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of experience in loan and letter of credit management, with specific use of LoanIQ as a deal management tool
  • Strong understanding of credit agreements plus experience with reading and interpreting these to build deals in LoanIQ and also provide summaries of the deal to stakeholders
  • Understanding of legal documents
  • Advanced capabilities in Excel
  • Possess a sense of urgency and accountability paired with the ability to respond to tight deadline requirements
  • A desire to learn and have exposure to ancillary operational areas such as profit and loss reporting, position management, funding, compliance reporting, tax and insurance.
