Our Control Tower team in Banking and Financial Services is key in developing, supporting and adopting new practices, tooling, and ways of working. To drive change and optimise how we work, we have an opportunity for an Associate Director to take accountability and oversight of our Digital, Data, Design and Engineering Acceleration Initiatives, drive enterprise collaboration and optimise value realisation.

What role will you play?

You will be a leading Technology Strategist that will make the transition from consulting to having true accountability to implement innovative strategies in a dynamic Digital first organisation, then this role is for you.

Reporting to the Head of Control Tower, you will establish disciplined and structured practices to ensure accountability across all Digital, Data, Design and Engineering Acceleration initiatives.

You’ll help to identify, analyse, develop, and execute key strategic initiatives in consultation with the team leaders to optimise and drive new ways of working and accelerate delivery cadence. You’ll have the opportunity to leverage your skills to ensure optimal delivery and measure and learn from the results to drive the continued evolution of how we operate and deliver across our Banking and Financial Services division.

What you offer

  • Experience in a Technology Strategy Consulting and/or Corporate Development environment, preferably within the financial services or fintech sector 
  • Strong analytical skills and a passion for understanding data insights
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to translate data into insights when presenting to senior leaders
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, strategic thinking skills and a growth mindset
  • Experience in managing multiple delivery workstreams and prioritising tasks to execute on key deliverables
  • Ability to understand and articulate, plan and execute strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills to build strong relationships with and influence stakeholders across all levels.
