Our Post Trade Data team delivers data solutions that enable effective management, insightful analysis, and automation within the Commodities and Global Markets division. What role will you play?

As a hybrid Data Analyst and Data Engineer, you will develop data products and analytics solutions to support major transformation programmes across Macquarie. You will build trusted relationships with stakeholders, manage risk, and champion a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Your work will help deliver impactful data solutions that support our evolving business needs.

What you offer

  • Proven ability to work closely with business stakeholders to understand and deliver on their requirements
  • Experience interpreting and transforming data using SQL, Python, or data tools such as Dataiku and Alteryx
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality work within agreed timeframes, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent analytical skills, complemented by clear and effective communication
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to change, with an understanding of data processes from ingestion through to reporting and analytics
  • Experience with Dataiku or knowledge of commodities, financial markets, and regulatory reporting is valuable.
