What role will you play?

This role sits within the Data Delivery team in RMG Change & Data division. The Data Delivery team supports RMG divisions in the uplift & delivery of data to support business objectives and transformation programs.

You will partner with the Credit Change Portfolio Lead and Credit Technology Lead to define the portfolio roadmap and manage end‑to‑end data delivery. You will define data deliverables and shape the data transformation roadmap across both a large Credit transformation program and the ongoing Credit BAU backlog. You will manage a team of data Business Analysts, building their capability and ensuring high‑quality outcomes. You will also define proposed data pipeline uplift solutions and data requirements to meet business objectives, while ensuring all end‑to‑end delivery aligns with data architecture principles and data management frameworks. In this role, you will maintain strong stakeholder relationships within the Credit division and across wider Enterprise data teams, and you will proactively manage data‑related risks and issues, including defining effective remediation proposals.

  • Proven experience in data product management, portfolio management or delivery in large-scale transformation programs
  • Background as a data BA, data analyst, credit analyst, architect or a similar role within financial services or risk management
  • Strong abstract reasoning/ problem solving skills – ability to define solutions to solve business problems
  • Proven track record of embedding change/ End to End process uplift across business, data & technology
  • Strong understanding of data architecture & management principles, including data mesh, governance, quality, and lifecycle management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Organisational skills with experience in tools such as JIRA and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with Credit or Financial Risk management, data strategies and platforms with certifications in related fields being advantageous.
