Macquarie Asset Management's D3E* (Division made up of Data, Digital, Design and Engineering) team is seeking a Data Product Manager to build Private Credit’s Investment Book of Record on our Google Cloud BigQuery data platform. The Enterprise D3E team is responsible for providing digital solutions to Macquarie Asset Management’s Private Credit and Fund Management teams.

What role will you play?

As a Data Manager, you will be responsible for analysing the data from our loan management platforms, defining logical and conceptual data models, and prototyping data models to meet the needs of consumers. You will collaborate with business domain leaders, end users, and data engineers. You will ensure high-quality data by following our data product lifecycle and embedding high quality documentation and quality checks into our data pipelines. You will advocate for best practices in data security, privacy, and ethical use, and focus on delivering intuitive and actionable data products that meet end-user needs.

What you offer

• Strong understanding of financial products including private credit or other fixed income securities
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, databases, and data modelling techniques
• Strong analytical skills for deriving insights and making data-driven decisions
• Adaptability and willingness to explore new technologies and approaches
• Strong business acumen and ability to align data initiatives with business objectives
