In this role, you will leverage your expertise in statistical modelling, machine learning, and analysis to develop large language models (LLMs) that address real-world challenges. Your output could potentially unlock diverse AI applications, driving positive societal change. As a Data Scientist, you are expected to collaborate with various stakeholders and teams to generate valuable insights and solve complex problems effectively.

Join our Data Science, Analytics and AI team supporting Macquarie Asset Management and you will have an opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Our team enables a data-driven culture for decision-makers by leveraging on advancements in analytics, and AI capabilities in support of business growth.

What you offer

• Relevant tertiary qualification, doctorate or master’s degree in data science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field with 4+ years industry working experience
• Demonstrates strong experience in data science and can concisely share examples of successful past projects.
• Advanced SQL and 2+ years’ programming experience in Python and Natural Language Processing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to read and keep abreast of LLM related research and thrive in an agile environment
