Join our Banking and Financial Services Technology division and work within the Engineering Enablers Environments and Quality Engineering team as a DevOps Engineer.

What role will you play?

You will work closely with our product engineering teams to educate and uplift their capabilities to drive higher levels of quality in development. Working closely with software engineers, you will demonstrate best practices around reliability coding patterns, practices, and tooling.

This role will require hands-on experience in DevOps and Software Engineering at an enterprise level and know how to implement it with best practice. You will be an accomplished DevOps practitioner comfortable operating in a technological landscape of legacy and emerging technologies.

This role is a mixture of analysis, hands on and mentoring working closely with developer teams to uplift capabilities. You should come from a strong DevOps background with plenty of experience supporting extremely critical, high-performance applications. You also should be familiar with DevOps engineering principles and how they can apply to large-scale systems and development teams.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Working Knowledge of Go/Golang (Preferred) or Java
• Linux Fundamentals
• Working knowledge of open-source technologies, and cloud services
• Hands on experience in implementing DevOps toolchains in SDLC
• Usage of Kubernetes, Docker and CICD tools
• Understanding of microservices.
• Testing, Security, and Monitoring experience 
• Understanding of Test Environments, observability, and alerting
