The Digital Solutions Owner will lead the strategic direction, development, and delivery of digital solutions across the Credit division. This role will join Macquarie Asset Management’s Enterprise and Digital team, working closely with the Digital Ecosystem, Fund Management teams, and the Credit investing teams. This role involves developing and managing a portfolio of products that enhance the investment workflows, portfolio management, and investor engagement. The Digital Solutions Owner will collaborate with senior executives to drive innovation, scalability, and competitive advantage through technology.

What role will you play?

The role involves developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy aligned with Credit goals, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder value through digital solutions, and monitoring industry trends to maintain a competitive edge. You will oversee a portfolio of digital products, define success metrics for all products, ensure seamless integration between tools, and engage with senior leadership and investment teams to understand strategic goals. Additionally, you will build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and guide cross-functional teams in designing and launching digital tools. You will advocate for Agile methodologies, resolve escalations, oversee the implementation of data analytics tools, and promote the use of AI/ML and automation. Ensuring regulatory and security compliance, partnering on budget management, and driving stakeholder education on digital transformation are also key responsibilities.

What you offer

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.15+ years of experience in product management or technology leadership, with at least 8 years in private markets, investment management, or financial services
  • Proven track record of managing and scaling digital product portfolios in complex, data-driven organisations within private markets or similar industries
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML applications for financial analysis and predictive modeling
  • Deep understanding of private market workflows and ability to align digital strategies with broader business objectives
  • Exceptional ability to influence and build consensus among diverse stakeholders, with strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Experience with private markets technology platforms and Agile methodologies, strong organisational skills, and ability to drive change and delivery in complex organisations
