What role will you play?

In this role you will lead the global technology organisation supporting Equity and Derivatives Trading, with accountability for strategy, architecture, engineering, delivery and production support. You will partner directly with senior business and technology leaders to shape investment priorities, accelerate product innovation and deliver technology that supports business growth, client activity and new market opportunities. 

You will lead the modernisation of trading platforms, strengthen engineering and operational excellence, and ensure the resilience, performance and controls expected within a global front-office trading environment. You will also drive the practical adoption of AI, automation and data-driven capabilities to improve engineering productivity, trading outcomes and client experiences. 

As a senior leader, you will build an inclusive, high-performing culture, develop future leaders and create an environment where teams can do their best work.

What you offer

  • Significant leadership experience in equities trading technology, including equity derivatives, electronic trading, synthetics or prime services.
  • Deep knowledge of pre-trade analytics, pricing, execution, market connectivity, electronic trading platforms and real-time risk management systems.
  • Experience leading large global technology organisations across engineering, architecture, delivery and production support within high-availability, market-facing environments.
  • Proven success modernising complex technology platforms and delivering large-scale transformation while maintaining operational resilience and service continuity.
  • Strong commercial judgement with experience partnering with business leaders and using technology, data and AI to support growth, innovation and better outcomes for clients and stakeholders.
