Join our India Equities team in Mumbai, which has been ranked Top 3 by Institutional Investor (II) in its Asia Pacific 2023 Rankings. Working within a supportive and high performing team in an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture, you will be part of the Equity Sales desk servicing institutional equity funds including Mutual Funds, Foreign Institutional Investors and Insurance companies.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 5 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

In this specialist role, you will be involved in analysing Indian companies, events impacting financial markets and market structure, and writing reports based on this information. You will also be responsible for supporting the desk and managing relationships with independent institutional clients. 

What you offer

• Excellent academic qualifications in Finance; an MBA from one of the Top 10 business schools and CFA Level III would be an advantage
• 2-4 years of experience in the financial sector with equities/capital markets/investment banking preferred
• Comfortable in writing views on financial subjects in a coherent and succinct manner
• High work ethic with a sense of commitment and drive
• Strong technology skills to automate processes and drive tech adoption for the team
• Good communication and writing skills.
