As an Internal Wholesaler, your role involves building and maintaining relationships with financial advisors in the broker-dealer network through sales calls. You will collaborate closely with the External Wholesaler, sharing updates on sales, meetings, and territory developments, while managing databases and logging communications.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?

Key responsibilities include growing the firms market share within the territory through consultation with financial advisors/registered representatives on our products and proactively educating financial advisors/registered representatives regarding the firms distributed products and benefits making recommendations to their clients. You will also strive to become a knowledgeable resource to the broker-dealer network and internal associates on all aspects of the investment industry, competitors (direct and indirect), and products available in the market. Additionally, you will respond to technical product and competitive positioning questions as appropriate and comply with all rules and regulations of selling securities as outlined by FINRA and SEC as well as any internal guidelines established while participating in client seminars, conferences, and education forums for purposes of educating our financial advisors/registered representatives.

Salary range for this position: $85,000 - $126,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. What you offer

  • Experience in asset management, with knowledge of alternative investments preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or a related field, with some experience in selling financial products
  • Series 7 & Series 63 licenses required
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills, and a general willingness to grow a business through relationship-building
