Legal and Governance Central division plays a crucial role at Macquarie, focused on protecting the organisation and delivering robust legal and governance services.
 
In this role, you will manage Macquarie’s Global Legal Panel across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas, with a focus on commercial and governance matters.

What role will you play?

You will work closely with the COO of the Legal and Governance Group in a strategic capacity to ensure that Macquarie derives maximum value from its legal panel arrangements, by leading negotiations of commercial arrangement structures, service levels, and value-add initiatives, whilst monitoring panel performance and maintaining robust governance frameworks and decision making processes.

You will maintain strong relationships with external firms and internal stakeholders, in addition to supporting the Panel Governance Committee, and leading key initiatives including feedback programs, law firm CRM management, and reporting. 

What you offer

  • Demonstrable experience in law firm pricing, business development, or legal operations.
  • Experience working with global firms or firms operating across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Familiarity with legal technology platforms, especially eBilling systems like TeamConnect.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience in reporting and analytics.
