Join our highly rated Equity Research team in Sydney where you will be supporting a Lead analyst covering companies Insurance and Diversified Financials sector in an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.

What role will you play?

You will work closely with our Lead Analyst to provide financial analysis and financial modelling support which will contribute to commentary on the sector. You’ll assist with the preparation of company reports and presentations, build financial models, analyse large data sets to identify key trends as well as attend corporate and investment advisory sessions as appropriate for our Institutional clients and stakeholders. You will have access to company management and industry experts, as well as other industry wide conferences, as a means for fact gathering and idea generation and development. 

What you offer

  • Tertiary qualification in a quantitative, economics, finance or similar discipline
  • Strong numerical and modelling skills and well-versed in financial concepts such as ratio analysis, valuation techniques and financial modelling
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to building good relationships
  • Self-motivated with a passion in equity research and a willingness to learn
  • Completed or completing CA or CFA qualifications is advantageous.
