Join our Commodities and Global Markets Business Regulatory Compliance Team where you will actively participate in the implementation of a consistent compliance framework in providing compliance advice and regulatory change coverage focused on a variety of different initiatives that may affect our businesses.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for keeping up to date on all applicable regulations and ensuring implementation of those regulations impacting derivatives and other financial products. You will also be responsible for collaborating with relevant business and support groups to effectively manage the implementation of new and revised applicable rules.

Salary range for this position: $136,000- $150,000/Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. What you offer

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry in Compliance and/or with a background in Securities Exchange, Regulator, Law firm or Hedge Fund.
  • A solid understanding of the concepts, products and terminology relating to Compliance Risk in securities and/or Over-the-Counter Derivatives transactions.
  • An ability to understand the risks inherent in derivatives
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory and reputational issues to consider in connection with derivative transactions.
  • Expertise in providing advice on regulatory interpretation and compliance issues in the Derivatives coverage area.

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Prudential Risk, and Risk Management Group Central.
