Join our Tax Reporting team for the Americas region! This team is responsible for the preparation tax returns across the Americas, as well as posting and reconciliation or the tax accounting entries and reporting and analysis of the group's tax profile in the region.

With continued expansion of the Macquarie Group in Latin America this role is to co-ordinate and manage the direct tax compliance and income tax reporting (ASC 740/IFRS) of Macquarie in Brazil, Mexico, Chile and potentially other locations. In this role, you will be a technical resource within Tax Reporting with constant focus on internal controls and process improvements but also work closely with Management, Tax Advisory and the businesses as they seek to introduce new products and set up new entities in Latin American countries. 

What you offer

  • Bachelors Degree, in accounting and/or finance, Masters in Tax and/or CPA
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in a similar or complimentary tax reporting role
  • Strong communication skills in managing outside vendors, internal deliverables and Business Unit expectations
  • Strong risk culture with demonstrable experience coordinating complex filings in difficult jurisdictions
  • Prior experience dealing with income tax reporting and managing outsourcing of income tax compliance is preferred
  • Financial Services industry experience preferred.
